Sarah Catherine Teixeira

Sarah Catherine, CEO & Co-Founder of Respira, began her career in sales at Dell before transitioning to nonprofit development, eventually serving as VP of Development at United Way.

Her deep connection to LATAM grew through mission work and six years as Executive Director of Jovenes en Camino in Honduras. With firsthand insight into the challenges and strengths of LATAM workers, she is committed to creating opportunities for businesses and talent. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Spanish from Lipscomb University.

Carmen Brooks

Carmen is the Co-Founder and Vice President of Operations at Respira Recruiting & Resources, where she focuses on streamlining operations, strengthening partnerships, and supporting mission-driven growth. A natural connector and problem-solver, Carmen thrives in fast-paced environments and is driven by a desire to create real, lasting change.

Her passion for Latin America began at 15 during a trip to Honduras— an experience that sparked a lasting love for Latin America and shaped her career path. Since then, she has remained committed to cross-cultural work that creates meaningful opportunities for people and communities. Carmen holds a Master’s degree from Lipscomb University and currently lives in Mexico.

Jose Medrano

Jose is a highly experienced Sales Development Representative with a strong background in business development, team management, and customer service. With a diverse career spanning roles in logistics, customer service, business development, and operations management, Jose brings a wealth of expertise in driving sales growth and enhancing customer experiences.

With a passion for creating meaningful connections and delivering customer success, Jose is now leveraging his skills to support Respira’s growth and expansion.

Marvin Moncada

Marvin serves as Respira’s Legal Representative in Honduras and our King of Communications. Known for his ease in verbal communication, strong interpersonal skills, and collaborative spirit, Marvin brings a positive attitude to every professional and personal challenge.

He’s been a trusted presence in our leadership’s lives since childhood, through his longtime work with Jóvenes en Camino, where he supported and collaborated with groups from the United States—including our co-founders. Marvin’s dedication, heart, and unwavering support have been instrumental in shaping Respira into what it is today.

Rossy Flores

Rosibel holds a degree in Spanish Education and a master’s in Project Management. With over a decade of experience as a university professor, she’s known for inspiring critical thinking and a love for literature. As the author of several educational books and a quality management consultant for one of Honduras’ top companies, Rosibel has driven process improvements and strengthened operations.

At Respira, she’s our networking queen—actively identifying new opportunities and connecting us with potential clients on the ground in Honduras. Her leadership, negotiation skills, and entrepreneurial spirit make her a standout in both academic and business circles.
